Who: Protesters gathered outside a migrant hotel in Canary Wharf, London; counter-protesters and hard-left activists who attempt to disrupt the live broadcast

Where: Canary Wharf, London, UK

When: August 2025

Why: Canary Wharf is one of London's most changed neighborhoods — built on docklands that used to be working-class, now a financial district next to housing estates where many of the protest attendees actually live. The migrant hotel in the area sits in that geographic tension. Kisin going live in that location and being interrupted by hard-left activists mid-broadcast is not staged conflict; it is what happens when real opposing groups occupy the same street. Both the protesters explaining their position and the counter-protesters trying to shut the broadcast down are speaking without preparation. The unscripted interruption is the journalism.
